The SBIG STL-11000 is a great camera, with one flaw. The CCD chamber window is prone to dew formation.

I solved this problem by bleeding some dry air (from a desiccating column) into the camera housing. I drilled and tapped a hole for a hose barb for this purpose, seen to the right of the remote head connector in the picture.

No more dew!
