Lunar Eclipse of November 8th, 2003. Totality lasted about 25 minutes and just barely skimmed the edge of the Moon. Camera Kodak DCS460 (KAF-6303C sensor), Takahashi FSQ-106N with 1.6x focal extender, Paramount ME. Variable from 1/200 sec to 6 seconds at totality. Photoshop was used to composite the shadow and lit sections of the Moon. Except during totality, the dynamic range is too wide to capture in a single shot. |
